Hyundai has launched special black pack editions of the i10 and the i20 hatchback in the Netherlands. This is likely to be to be the last update or special edition for the current generation i10 as spy pictures of the 2014 model (codenamed BA), have started circulating on the web. The i20 on the other hand is likely to continue in its present state for another year.
The major change to the i10 is that it will get a piano black roof. Also the body coloured section of the front fascia above the grille has now been painted in black. The car also gets OVRM mounted indicators, four power windows and central locking as well as most features found in our top sportz Kappa variant. The i20 gets the Piano black roof and all the features offered on our top-end petrol Asta variant.
The Dutch spec i10 is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces 69bhp and 99Nm of torque and costs 9995 Euros (Rs 7.14 lakh) while the i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine which produces 85bhp and 113Nm of torque
