Hyundai has launched the Elite i20 Anniversary Edition at Rs 6.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the petrol variant and Rs 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Based on the Sportz trim level, it has been priced Rs 30,000 more than the standard variant and includes mostly cosmetic updates fitted at the dealer level.
It will have a limited production run of just 600 units. Some of the standard comfort features in this variant include climate control, 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth connectivity and six speakers. The dealer accessories are expected to include floor mats, seat covers, parcel tray, badging, and door sil plates.
On the mechanical front, the petrol version gets a 1.2-litre four-cylinder mill that produces 82bhp/115Nm and is mated to a five-speed manual. The oil burner on the other hand is a 1.4-litre unit that produces 89bhp/220Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual.
This edition has been launched to celebrate one year of the Hyundai Elite i20’s presence in the Indian market.
