Hyundai has launched dual-fuel versions of the i10 and Santro which can run on petrol and CNG in Andhra Pradesh. The CNG kit is basically an accessory for an additional cost of Rs 56,000, but comes with a warranty of two years. However, the Accent CNG is won’t be available in the tier I city.
With the rising petrol prices, the demand for the CNG vehicles has gone up substantially and the Korean car maker is hoping to capitalize of the same. The prices of the CNG variants are close to the diesel vehicles in their respective segments. We expect Hyundai to offer similar kits as accessories at all its dealers in the country very soon.
