Hyundai has revealed the prices and specifications for the new Kona in UK. The Kona prices starts from £16,195 on road (approx. Rs 13,93,644) and it will be up for sale from 2 November 2017. The vehicle is available in number of external colours, both neutral and vivid, in metallic (M), pearl (P) or metallic pearl (MP) finishes. The new Hyundai Kona is available in five variants – S, SE, Premium, Premium SE and Premium GT.
Hyundai Kona gets a 1.0-litre T-GDi engine which generates 117bhp of power across four variants, while the top spec Premium GT variant is offered with a 1.6 T-GDi engine which generates 172bhp of power. Safety being a priority, the Hyundai Kona gets driver attention alert, lane keeping assist, hill start assist control and downhill brake control featuring on all models, Premium SE adds blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert with Premium GT specification adding autonomous emergency braking.
Along with premium upholstery, the newly launched Kona gets parking system including rear parking sensors and rear camera, with seven-inch or eight-inch touchscreen centre console options which display including smart device integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top spec Kona Premium GT gets full LED headlamps with High Beam Assist and static bending function, as well as LED rear tailamps, a driver’s supervision instrument cluster with 4.2-inch LCD multifunction screen. The top-sec version also adds the Safety Pack which includes Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian recognition.
