Hyundai has announced that it will offer the Kona EV in select metro cities once the electric SUV is launched in India on July 9. This will be the first electric SUV in India and will be offered here via the CKD route.
The South Korean automaker is expected to bring in an initial round of 1000 units at the time of launch and is also expected to offer a charging solutions as a part of the deal. The Kona EV will take on the likes of the MG E-ZS that will be launched in India at the end of 2019.
Hyundai is expected to price the Kona EV in the range of Rs 25 lakhs to Rs 30 lakhs when it is launched next month. Â
