Post much wait, Hyundai has finally launched the Kona Electric in India at an introductory price of Rs 25.30 lakhs (ex-showroom, all-India). The ‘Kona’ Electric is named after the idyllic west-coast region of the Big Island of Hawaii. The vehicle is available in four colour options - phantom black, polar white, marina blue and typhoon silver. For an additional cost of Rs 20,000 you get the dual colour option - polar white with phantom black roof. Here's its picture gallery -

For convenience, it gets steering mounted audio and Bluetooth controls.

Under the hood, it gets a 39.2 kWh battery with an ARAI certified driving range of 452kms per charge. The 134bhp permanent-magnet synchronous motor is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in 9.7-seconds.
