Hyundai has introduced some service packages for several models from their line-up. These are available for the Eon, Grandi10, Elite i20, Xcent, Active i20 and the Verna, which can be availed from any authorised dealer across the country.
The new program is called Hyundai Customer Care Programme (HCCP). It is a service package for the aforementioned models but is currently available for petrol variants only. HCCP includes preventive maintenance for up to three years or 1,00,000 km. Customers opting for this package also get one year extended warranty over their existing warranty. Except for the Verna, the carmaker is also offering free roadside assistance for an additional year on the Eon, Grand i10, i20 and the Xcent.
Prospective buyers should however note that HCCP does not cover replacement of worn out parts or accidental damage. It also excludes wheel alignment and balancing, which if required by a customer can be availed at an extra cost. Also, the workshop will make use of mineral engine oil under HCCP and synthetic oil will be charged extra. For the moment, HCCP can be had only by private Hyundai car owners, while taxi and commercial vehicles are not eligible.
