- Will be based on the Casper
- To offer a claimed range of 355km (WLTP)
Hyundai has officially teased the all-electric micro-SUV, the Inster internationally. It will make its global debut at Busan International Mobility Show on 27 June, 2024. As per the automaker, the Inster nomenclature is derived from the words ‘Intimate’ and ‘Innovative’.
The Inster will be based on the Casper SUV, which has been in the Korean market since 2021. Meanwhile, the automaker will retail it as the ‘Casper Electric’ in its home country. The Inster is likely to make its India debut possibly in the form of the Exter-based all-electric vehicle in the coming year.
As per the teaser images, the Inster will carry Casper’s circular LED DRLs and headlamps and pixel-themed turn indicators and taillights. Furthermore, the Inster will feature a front fender-mounted charging port similar to that of the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
Now, the automaker has not revealed the battery pack and specifications of the Inster. However, the model is claimed to return a WLTP-certified driving range of 355km on a single charge.
