Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has achieved their target of selling five lakh vehicles in the domestic market in 2016. The carmaker clocked domestic sales of 5,00,537 units this calender year and registered a growth of 5.2 per cent.
In 2015, HMIL sold 4,76,001 units, while their cumulative sales accounted to 6,43,269 units. Their sales numbers have grown to 6,62,054 units in 2016 showing a growth of 2.9 per cent.

HMIL has achieved success by surpassing their targeted half-million units sales milestone in India. This sales success can be attributed to the Grand i10, Elite i20 and Creta, which have been the company's super performer brands in our country. The newly launched Elantra and Tucson have redefined the premium segment in the Indian market. Let’s hope the carmaker launches new models for the Indian market, while also updating the existing models.
