Ahead of its launch that is scheduled to take place later this month, we have exclusive details of the upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 Nios including the efficiency figures and engine specifications. Powertrain options on the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will include a BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a BS-VI ready 1.2-litre CRDi diesel engine. The former will produce 81bhp and 114 Nm of torque while the latter will be capable of producing 74bhp and 190 Nm of torque. Transmission options on both the variants will include a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit.
Fuel efficiency wise, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios petrol manual and petrol AMT will return 20.7 kmpl and an identical 20.5 kmpl respectively. Similarly, the diesel manual and diesel AMT counterparts will return an identical efficiency of 26.2 kmpl. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be launched in India on 20 August. Once launched, the model will rival against the likes of Ford Figo and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
