The all-new Hyundai Grand i10 is likely to be introduced in the festive season later this year. Ahead of its official debut, the upcoming vehicle has been spotted testing across different locations in India. The latest round of spotting has revealed the interior of the new Grand i10. The updated model of the Hyundai Grand i10 is based on an all-new platform which is expected to be lighter, flexible, safer and wider than its predecessor.Â
As seen in images, the camouflaged dashboard and door panels indicate that the new model will get a fresh interior featuring a touchscreen infotainment system and a dual-tone upholstery. Reports indicate that the new model will be offered with slimmer seats compared to the current version, which in turn, makes the interior appear more spacious than the current generation model. The new seat layout will be accommodating and offer adjustable headrest. The redesigned centre console will offer a decent amount of storage space for your cellphone, wallet and other odds and ends.Â
To jazz up its overall appeal, the vehicle has been fitted with a single speed dial and a large instrument panel which resembles a wide info display. The top spec version is likely to get climate control and multiple airbags, while the lower variants will get dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, speed and seatbelt alert as standard.Â
Mechanically, the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 will be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version will continue to be powered by the 1.2-litre Kappa engine that generates 81bhp of power and 114Nm, while the diesel version will be powered by the existing 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that produces 74bhp power and 190Nm torque. Both the variants get the five-speed manual gearbox as standard while the petrol gets the four-speed automatic option.
