Hyundai India is celebrating the first anniversary of the Exter and has launched its Knight Edition to mark this occasion. This special edition is based on the SX and SX (O) Connect variants of the micro SUV. Here are the top feature highlights that differentiate it from the standard variants.
Blacked-out exterior
The Exter Knight is offered in five monotone and two dual-tone colour options. However, the main USP is the blacked-out elements such as a black side sill garnish, darkened emblems, black front and rear skid plates, and 15-inch alloy wheels painted in black.
Red embellishments
To break the monotony of black, the sub-compact SUV sports red accents on the front bumper and rear tailgate. Moreover, the brake callipers are also painted red.
Black and red interior
Moving inside, the Hyundai Exter Knight Edition gets an all-black interior with red accents and stitching. It is complemented well with red footwell lighting, floor mats with red stitching and unique upholstery, black satin door handles and steering wheel, and a metal scuff plate.
Powertrain
The Exter Knight Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83bhp and 114Nm of torque. This mill is mated to either a five-speed manual or an AMT.
