Hyundai India, to celebrate the first anniversary of the Exter SUV, has launched a new special Knight Edition of the model. The Exter Knight Edition is available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 8.38 lakh and is based on the SX and SX (O) variants. Notably, the Exter has garnered over 93,000 unit sales since its launch last year.
The Exter Knight Edition can be had in five monotone and two dual-tone colour options, namely, Starry Night, Atlas White, Ranger Khaki, Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black roof, Abyss Black, Shadow Grey, and Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof. Notably, the latter three are the new exterior paint schemes.
As for the exterior changes, the Exter Knight Edition flaunts blacked-out elements such as front and rear skid plates, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, Hyundai logo and Exter badge, and a Knight emblem. Moreover, the SUV adorns red accents on the front and rear bumper, tailgate, and front brake callipers.
On the inside, the cabin comes finished in black with red accents and stitching, footwell lighting, metal scuff plates, floor mat with red stitching, and special ‘Knight’ themed seat upholstery.
Mechanically, the Hyundai Exter Knight Editon continues to be powered by the same 1.2-litre NA petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual and AMT gearboxes. This motor is capable of churning out 81bhp and 113Nm of torque.
