Hyundai Motors India has extended its partnership with global lubricants major Shell till 2015. The alliance between the parent companies has been in effect since 2004 while the Indian arms began their association in 2008.
As part of the alliance, Hyundai India will use Shell as their preferred lubricants suppliers for the next three years. Maruti Suzuki and Ford are the other major car manufacturers that are associated the Shell Lubricants in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Prasad, country head of Shell said that continuing alliance between Hyundai and Shell would aid in automotive research which would ultimately benefit the car owners. He added that Shell would make every effort to provide Hyundai with the latest lubrication technology and services.
