Hyundai has unveiled the Elite i20 facelift along with a handful of other models at the Auto Expo. The refreshed premium hatchback gets some minor tweaks to the exterior styling and some additional changes in the cabin as well. This latest iteration is more of an evolution of the hatchback than a radical change. Let's take a look at the details through this picture gallery.
Up front, the car features Hyundai’s ‘Cascading’ grille, while the front bumper gets a refreshed design with a different shape for the fog lamp enclosures.
The silhouette of the hatchback remains as sleek as its predecessor. However, the car now rides on alloy wheels that get a funky design pattern.
At the back, the bumper design is updated with black inserts towards the bottom and the registration plate has been moved to the tailgate. Hyundai has slightly tweaked the tail lamps too.
Though the interior layout remains mostly unchanged, the air-con vents above the infotainment screen are slightly re-profiled along with the hazard light button and the central locking button.
While the new air-con vents get faux-aluminium surrounds to give it a premium look, the buttons of the infotainment system have been re-shuffled too.
The engine options on this 2018 version remain unaltered. The new 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and 1.4-litre diesel mill from the previous model are carried over with the manual and automatic gearbox options.
