The Hyundai Elite i20 will be facelifted next year and is likely to make its debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. It is Hyundai’s big seller in the upper sections of the B+segment and this mid-life update comes as an important milestone in the life of this generation of the car.
We have already seen a plethora of test mules and know that the major updates will come in the form of a new face and rear section. The cabin too will get updates in the form of a revised feature list and probably some new bits of trim. The car that has been spotted is a mid-level AT model and is most likely the Magna variant as is the case with the current model.Â
The AT option is a four-speed unit mated to a 1.4-litre engine producing 99bhp/132Nm. This engine is only offered with the AT and is priced significantly higher than its manual counterpart, thanks to rules regarding petrol engines above the capacity of 1.2-litres.Â
