- Elantra facelift bookings have commenced

Hyundai India will launch the facelifted Elantra in the country tomorrow. Previously leaked images have revealed that the model will be available in three variants including S, SX and SX(O). Bookings for the executive premium sedan began on 25 September.
Exterior highlights of the Hyundai Elantra facelift include the signature cascade grille design, triangular-shaped headlamp cluster with LED headlamps and DRLs, redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels, new wraparound LED tail lights and a new rear bumper.
Inside, the facelifted Hyundai Elantra will come equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front ventilated seats, 10 way power-adjustable driver seat, leather upholstery, 4.2-inch MID with colour display, sliding front armrest, cruise control, dual-zone climate control and a cooled glove box. The 2019 Hyundai Elantra is expected to be powered by a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine. This motor could be offered with a six-speed manual transmission and an automatic gearbox. The diesel powertrain could be introduced sometime later.
