Hyundai has launched the Elantra facelift in India, with prices starting at Rs 15.89 lakhs (ex-showroom, all India). The model is available in three variants including S, SX and SX(O). Bookings for the model had commenced on 25 September.
Powering the Hyundai Elantra facelift is a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 152bhp and 192Nm of torque. This motor is offered with a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic gearbox. The diesel mill has been discontinued and could be launched sometime later.
On the outside, the facelifted Hyundai Elantra features LED headlamps with DRLs, signature cascading grille, new front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, redesigned wraparound LED tail lights and triangular-shaped fog lamps.
The interiors of the Hyundai Elantra facelift comes equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, sunroof, cruise control, wireless charging, front ventilated seats, 4.2-inch MID with colour display, cooled glove box, 10-way power-adjustable driver seat and BlueLink connectivity.
