With the introduction of so many new SUVs recently, Hyundai also wants its Creta SUV to be abreast with the competition. Also, for prospective buyers of the Creta, the carmaker recently launched a Sports Edition at Rs 12.78 lakhs. The mechanicals in the car have been retained and the only major changes come in the form of cosmetic updates and additional features. Here's its picture gallery.
Only two exterior colour options are being offered irrespective of the cosmetic updates and additional features. This includes polar white or phantom black as standard.
Buyers of the white coloured Creta Sports edition can have a dual-tone theme by opting for the black roof. It costs an additional Rs 11,000, though.
Otherwise, black elements like the dark chrome garnish for the grille and smoked projector headlamps are standard on this limited edition.
Also, the OVRMs get a black coloured housing and even the spoiler is black. The rear sports faux dual exhaust tips while rest of the design remains the same.
Like the silver coloured skid plates, the SUV sports roof rails in the same finish as the other silver elements. These also match with some elements inside the cabin.
Distinguishing elements inside the Creta Sports edition are all-black interiors and black fabric seat upholstery with ‘Creta’ embossing and contrast stitching.
This special edition is based on the SX trim and is offered with the existing 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines. This trim, is however, available only with the manual transmission versions.
