Hyundai Motors has introduced the Creta Sports Edition in India. The Sports Edition is based on the SX trim and is offered with the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines. The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition gets cosmetic updates and feature additions.
The Creta Sports Edition is priced at Rs 12.78 lakhs for the 1.6 petrol MT and Rs 14.13 lakhs (both prices are ex-showroom Mumbai) for the 1.6 diesel MT version. The Sports Edition is offered in two colour options - Phantom Black and Polar White. The white option also comes with a dual-tone Phantom Black roof for an additional amount of Rs 11,000.
So what's new you'd ask? Well, for starters, the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition gets dark chrome garnish for the grille, smoked projector headlights, faux dual exhaust tips, silver roof rails and skid plates, and black finish to the ORVMs and the rear spoiler. Inside, it gets all-black interiors, black fabric seat upholstery with 'Creta' embossing and contrast stitching, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
On the features front, the Creta Sports Edition comes with an electric sunroof, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control, height-adjustable driver seat and wireless charging. With all the feature additions, the Sports Edition costs Rs 54,000- 60,000 over the SX variant, which it is based on.
