The Korean manufacturer, Hyundai, had launched their premium compact SUV in India in mid-2015. Two years down the line, the company has given the car a cosmetic makeover and unveiled it in China. However, we at Carwale speculate that the Indian Creta will receive similar tweaks as a part of its much overdue midlife update.
The updated SUV now boasts of a wider grille and DRL (daytime running lights) which is integrated in to the air dam. The bumpers and the skid plates have also been restyled. The side profile is carried over from its predecessor, with some minor tweaks. It now rides on a new set of designer wheels. Additionally, the SUV now gets twin exhaust tips along with revamped rear bumper and diffusers.

Powering the Chinese Hyundai Creta are two 1.4-litre and the 1.6-litre turbo charged petrol engines. On the other hand, the Indian version currently on sale is powered by the same 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre in petrol variants and a 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engine options. The international variant gets a choice of a six speed manual or a six speed automatic, similar to the Indian spec version.
The India spec Hyundai Creta is expected to receive its cosmetic makeover by early 2018. After  the update, the compact SUV will continue to rival against the Renault Duster and the Nissan Terrano.
