Hyundai India has silently updated the lineup of its popular selling SUV, the Creta. The Creta SUV is now available in the EX variant, priced at Rs 10,83,737 (petrol) and Rs 10,99,274 (diesel) (both ex-showroom, Mumbai). The E Plus variant is the new entry-level offering in the Creta lineup and the EX trim sits one level above the base variant. Furthermore, Hyundai has discontinued the Creta S 1.6-diesel automatic, which now means that the diesel automatic is only available in the top spec SX variant.Â
The Creta EX variant continues to be powered by the existing 1.6-litre petrol and the 1.4-litre diesel engine option. As for features, in addition to all the features from the Creta E Plus, the EX variant gets rear parking camera and front fog lamps with DRLs. The rear-seat gets an armrest with cupholder and adjustable headrest. The diesel version, on the other hand, is available with an additional set of features like touchscreen infotainment system, two tweeters, steering mounted audio controls and USB charging slot with 12V power output in the front.
Hyundai is yet to make an official announcement in this regard. Hyundai dealers, however, will continue to sell the existing stock for the Creta E and the Creta S 1.6-litre diesel automatic variants.
