- Will likely offer a driving range of up to 500km
- To get ADAS, 360-degree surround camera, and more
Hyundai India is all set to launch the Creta-based all-electric model in India in January 2025. It will go under production by the end of this year and will likely be called as the Creta EV. Upon its launch, the model will be sold alongside its ICE twin carrying a significant premium over the latter.
In terms of design, the electric version of the Creta will borrow many elements from the ICE Creta. It will feature a blanked-off grille with a charging port, connecting LED DRLs, split LED headlamps, connected LED taillamps, rear spoiler with an integrated stop lamp, roof-rails, and a slightly tweaked front and rear bumper. Moreover, the model will get aero-patterned alloy wheels.
As for the features, the Creta EV will be as equipped as the standard Creta. It will come loaded with a twin display for the infotainment and instrument panel, wireless charger, Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-degree surround camera, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Regarding the battery pack and specifications, Hyundai has not revealed any information as of now. However, we expect it to get a decently sized battery pack which will deliver a driving range of up to 500km on a single charge.
