- To be launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025
- EV-specific styling bits with the current Creta facelift
Hyundai India will finally unveil the Creta-based all-electric SUV to the world in the coming month. It is scheduled to make its India debut at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Ahead of this global unveiling, the model has been spotted doing final test runs.
The spy picture reveals the rear profile of the upcoming Creta EV. The major highlights are a new set of aero-designed alloy wheels, connected taillamps, extended roof spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, a shark-fin antenna, roof rails, a rear wiper, and some sort of pixelated patterns on the bumper.
Coming to the features, the previous spy pictures revealed that the Creta EV will be as equipped as its ICE twin. It will come loaded with twin displays for the infotainment and the instrument panel, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake with auto hold function, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS suite, and a drive selector lever on the steering column.
We expect the new Creta EV to sport a 50-60kWh battery pack with an approximate driving range of up to 500km on a single charge. Upon its launch, the electric SUV from Hyundai will compete against the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and the Mahindra XEV 9e.
