Hyundai India has achieved a huge milestone with its most recent model, the Creta SUV. The popular mid-size SUV has surpassed one lakh unit sales since its launch in India. However, the most crucial element in this milestone is the time it took to clock this achievement.
The Creta facelift was launched in January 2024, and just within six months, the model has crossed over one lakh sales. On average, over 550 units of Creta were sold every day.
The Hyundai Creta can be had in seven variants at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 11 lakh and tops out at Rs. 20.15 lakh. One of the reasons for Creta’s popularity in the country is the feature-packed cabin of the SUV. It comes loaded with twin displays for infotainment and instrument panel, dual-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, and a Level 2 ADAS suite. All these features make the Creta one of the most feature-rich offerings in its class.
Mechanically, the Creta can be had with three powertrain options – a 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel motor.
