Hyundai Motor India Ltd. announced the transfer of its current Managing Director & CEO, Mr. H. S. Lheem to its Headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. The transfer will be effective from November 5, 2009.
Mr. H. S. Lheem had joined Hyundai Motor India Ltd in December, 2005 and has led the company to record sales and commissioning of the second manufacturing unit in Sriperumbdur in 2008. Under his leadership HMIL launched new models like the Verna, i10 and the i20 which have become immensely successful in both the domestic and the international market.
Mr. Lheem will be succeeded by Mr. H. W. Park, the current Senior Executive Director, Administration & CFO, HMIL who will now take over as the MD & CEO, HMIL.
