- To be launched in the coming months
- To get Level 2 ADAS tech
Hyundai India is actively testing the facelifted version of the Alcazar ahead of its launch in the coming months. The model will carry forward many design elements, features, and tech from the new Creta SUV. Recently, the three-row SUV was spotted being tested with camouflaged front and rear profiles.
The updated Alcazar will get the majority of the changes made to its front and rear sections. Up front, the SUV will feature a connecting DRL along with turn indicators similar to that of the Creta. Then, the grille will undergo a new treatment with a horizontal slat pattern flanked by split LED headlamps. Moreover, on further examining the spy image, the radar sensor for the ADAS tech is clearly visible, which is neatly integrated into the bumper.
The side profile remains more or less similar to that of the outgoing version. However, the update will bring in new alloy wheels to the Alcazar facelift. At the rear, we expect the tail lamps to get the connecting light bar design with redesigned bumpers.
Mechanically, the Alcazar facelift will likely continue with the same powertrain options. Upon its launch, the updated three-row Alcazar will face off against the Kia Carens, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, Toyota Innova Crysta, and the Mahindra Scorpio N in the market.
