- To get a completely revised front fascia
- Will get a new set of alloy wheels
Hyundai India will launch the facelifted version of the Alcazar SUV in India in the coming months. The three-row Creta-based model will benefit from a revised design and new features while offering the same powertrain options. And in the recent spy pictures, the front design has leaked revealing key details.
As seen in the image, the Alcazar facelift will get a completely new and different look from the Creta. The changes include redesigned LED DRLs with a connecting light bar, rectangular-shaped split LED headlamps, wide grille with horizontal slats, and a revised bumper.
Moreover, the Alcazar facelift will ride on new swirl-patterned dual-tone alloy wheels to further enhance the stance of the SUV. It is also expected to get a revised rear profile with tweaked LED taillights with a connected feature.
Feature-wise, the Alcazar facelift will likely come loaded with twin 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument panel, 360-degree surround camera, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and electrically adjustable driver seats. Furthermore, similar to the Creta facelift, the updated Alcazar will also get a Level 2 ADAS suite.
Mechanically, Hyundai is unlikely to make any changes to the powertrain options of the Alcazar. The SUV will continue to be powered by petrol and diesel engines of 1.5-litre capacity. As for the transmission options, the engines will come mated to a six-speed manual, torque converter automatic, and a DCT gearbox.
