- Was spied earlier in the red paint scheme
- To be launched in this festive season
Hyundai India is in the process of launching the facelifted version of the Alcazar. The three-row SUV is set to debut this festive season in between September and October. Ahead of its imminent launch, the model was spied again being tested in a new exterior colour. By the looks of it, the Alcazar facelift test mule looks production-ready.
As seen in the picture, the SUV is finished in a black paint scheme with silver accents. Previously we spotted another test mule that was being tested in a red exterior colour. Some of the visible design highlights include swirl-pattern dual-tone alloy wheels, reworked front and rear bumpers, redesigned headlights and DRLs, connected taillights, shark-fin antenna, roof-rails, and a dual exhaust tip.
Feature-wise, the Alcazar has always been one of the most equipped models in its class, with most of the features being offered from the base variant itself. However, as the Alcazar was not updated for the longest time since its launch, its competitors caught up and offered some high-end features such as an ADAS suite. But, with the facelift, the Creta-based three-row SUV is set to receive Level 2 ADAS tech, making it equally loaded as its main rivals.
Mechanically, the SUV will likely continue with the same powertrain option as the current iteration. The engines on offer will include a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a similar-capacity diesel engine with manual and automatic gearbox options.
