Nissan Sunny versus the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire
The Nissan is clearly the better looking of the two. It looks more purposeful both inside and out. And, in terms of space it’s the Nissan which has more to offer again. Equipment wise, though, they are very closely matched.
In terms of dynamics again, both the Nissan and the Maruti are pretty close. Both have a quick and light steering, not the best turn-ins in the business and if pushed too hard into a corner, both are quite prone to understeer.
If it's comfort you seek, you'd be better off with the Maruti. The Dzire has more comfortable seats, particularly at the rear, though the Nissan definitely has more space.
Nissan Sunny versus the Toyota Etios
The Sunny again is fresher looking of the two here. Inside too the cabin feels more spacious and better finished. Quality levels are higher too. It's also better equipped.
However, when you begin driving, both cars impress in different areas. The Nissan feels more planted in a straight line and around corner. But, the Nissan feels lazier on turn-in compared to the Etios.
As far as engines go, both use 1.5-litre petrol engines, and you’d be happy with the performance offered by both. These are refined and people the cars off the line with decent gusto.
