Japanese auto giant Honda unveiled its new Civic sedan at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year. The new Honda Civic has been designed for the European car market.
Designed for the European market, the Civic, which is in its ninth generation, offers a sporty design with a blend of class leading utility, according to the company. Honda also claimed that the Civic is the start of Honda’s aim to cut down emissions from its cars, in tune with its global policy of a more environment friendly product range. As a result the 1.8-litre petrol engine produces 10 per cent less CO2 emissions than before while the 2.2-litre diesel powerplant (Honda’s only diesel engine) produces 20 per cent.
