Honda to show Civic diesel at Paris Motor Show

Honda has announced that it will have on display a diesel Civic at the Paris Motor Show. We are understandably excited about the prospect of a diesel engine; there's the other matter of the Civic that it powers being the up-to-date model that is currently sold in Europe.

The diesel is a 1.6-litre engine that generates 118bhp and an impressive 300Nm. Even more impressive is the claimed fuel efficiency figure of 27.8kmpl. The Civic will be called, prosaically, the i-DTEC Earth Dreams, but the car itself looks a lot more exciting and we look forward to seeing it on sale in India soon.
