- Expected range of close to 500km
- Both single and dual-motor configurations will be offered
Honda will present what the brand calls 0 Series prototype models at CES 2025 ahead of its introduction to the global market starting in 2026. The company will also introduce the original vehicle operating system (OS) it plans to adopt for its 0 Series models during the event, which will be held from 7 to 10 January in Las Vegas.
Regarding technical details, the EVs based on the 0 Series models will come with single and dual-motor configurations. The base car will have around 240bhp for the single motor version with rear-wheel drive, whereas the dual-motor car will have AWD thanks to the 240bhp rear motor and another motor at the front making roughly 70bhp. The battery pack will feature nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) chemistry with a maximum capacity of 90kWh. We are expecting a claimed range of close to 500km on a single charge for the long-range version.
Honda showed off the 0 Series and its ‘Thin, Light and Wise’ development approach at CES earlier this year. At the next edition, the brand has announced that it will focus on the “Wise” value of these upcoming models. Alongside the introduction of the original vehicle OS, Honda will also focus on the automated driving technologies to be installed on the 0 Series.
