Japanese car manufacturer Honda will soon be announcing its electrification plans for its European car range at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show. Honda will be unveiling the Honda Urban EV Concept at the upcoming event. Coincidentally, the concept vehicle is also the company’s first EV for Europe. Honda will also showcase the CR-V hybrid prototype at the event which is based on the European version of the all-new CR-V SUV.
Moreover, Honda will also showcase the new-look Jazz hatchback and the new diesel-powered variant of the tenth-generation Civic hatchback. The company has not spoken in detail about the Honda Urban EV concept yet and more details will be forthcoming at the time of its unveiling. The teaser images however reveal a dot-matrix display with Honda logo on the centre that reads out the charging status of the vehicle. By 2030, the Japanese car manufacturer plans to have two-thirds of its products operating on electronic technology.
Since most leading car manufacturers around the world are already working on developing electric cars, Honda will be the latest to join this bandwagon.
