Honda Cars India has announced that it will hike the prices of its entire range by two per cent with effect from April 1. It has attributed the hike to offsetting the cost of installing an OBD (on-board diagnostics) as well as increased freight charges.
Honda is one of the first mass-market manufacturers to announce a rise in prices. Despite selling more units in February 2013 as compared to January 2013, the numbers are still less as compared to February 2012. However, the Japanese automaker will soon be launching its highly anticipated Amaze diesel sedan which is expected to help Revive sales.
