The Honda Amaze has reached the two lakh units sold milestone In India. The manufacturer has achieved this landmark in three years after it first launched this compact sedan in our country.
The Amaze is Honda's first and the only compact sedan, which also marked the carmaker's entry into the diesel segment of cars. Apart from the 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that powers the petrol Amaze, Honda's first 1.5-litre four-cylinder i-DTEC diesel motor is being used in the diesel Amaze. This new Earth Dreams diesel motor has proved to become one of the most versatile diesel engines currently in production. It has helped Honda achieve a huge sales success overall.

During the span of three years, it has achieved sales milestone of 2,00,000 units bringing new customers into Honda fold. Honda has launched the facelifted version of the Amaze in March this year. The changes this 2016 iteration of the Amaze come in the form of improvements over its predecessor. It continues to return high sales figures for the manufacturer.
