Honda Cars India has sold 13,431 units in May as compared to 13,262 units in May 2014 registering a growth of one per cent. The company sold 26,067 units in April 2015 as against 24,402 units sold during the same period last year, marking a growth of seven per cent.
In the company’s range being offered in the Indian market, the highest seller was the City sedan which registered 7,562 units. The second highest seller was the Amaze compact sedan which did 3,699 units. During this period the Japanese automaker also exported 655 units.
Honda will launch the Jazz next month and this is expected to add a decent amount of volumes to the overall numbers of the Japanese automaker.
