- 17,602 cars sold in June 2018, 486 units exported
- New Amaze gets over 26,000 bookings since launch
After registering 9,789 units in terms of sales in May 2018, the Honda Amaze has again sold over 9,000 units in June 2018, thus driving the overall sales to over 17,000 units last month. Contributing to more than 50 per cent sales, the Amaze has got over 26,000 bookings and will continue to boost Honda sales.
With the uncertainty over GST last year not affecting Honda by any means, the 37.5 per cent growth over the sales in June 2017 would have the Japanese car maker gearing up for their next launches – the Civic and the CR-V. Due for launch in 2018, the two premium cars will extend Honda’s market presence into the D-segment which is turning out to be a growing segment. The Honda City sales seem to be back on track after a slow month and the WR-V, and the Jazz have been selling steady.
