Honda Cars India has managed to sell 14,233 units in the month of the October 2018, just one short of the number of cars it sold in October 2017. With the fuel prices reaching a record high and the air pollution in north India warranting a car-ban like previous years, the buyer sentiment has been shatteringly low even in the high movement period of Navratri.
Honda has recently launched the all-new CR-V with seven seats and a diesel option but being a premium SUV, the volumes are always expected to be low. The Amaze continues to do well after hitting the 50,000 mark in about six months from its launch becoming one of the fastest selling cars from the Japanese brand in India.
Honda will add the new Civic to the Indian line-up in early 2019 along with a chance of the new Amaze-faced Brio arriving in the latter half of 2019.
