Honda recalls CR-V and Accord to fix issue with airbag

Honda has announced that it will carry out preventive replacement of the passenger side airbag inflator in 575 units of the CR-V manufactured in 2004 and the driver side airbag inflator of 10,805 units of the Accord manufactured between 2003-2007. Additionally, the passenger side air bag inflator  of one unit of the Civic manufactured in 2004 will also be replaced.
The replacement will be carried out free of cost at HCIL dealerships across India from June 4 in a phased manner and the company will communicate with the concerned customers directly. The customers can also check whether their car will be covered under this campaign by submitting their 17 character alpha-numeric Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the special microsite which has been created for the purpose.
