Honda NSX, the name rings a bell for every enthusiast who has followed the brand closely. The car came into production in 1990 and was discontinued in 2005. Now the good news is that Honda will resurrect the NSX brand soon and they are showing the car, in India, at ongoing the twelfth Auto Expo.
The NSX concept looks stunning and will retain the two-door, mid-engine with an all-wheel-drive system. The firepower might come through a direct injection V6 engine which is rumoured to displace 3.7-litres with a twin-turbo setup mated to either a seven-speed manual or a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
The concept might be put to production in the coming years and will look to cash in on the legacy of its predecessor. It was a big crowd puller at the Honda stall. The car will compete with the current established supercars like the McLaren 12C and the Ferrari 458 Italia. It is certain that the concept was just there for display, but the possibilities of Honda bringing to India cannot be ruled out.
