Honda Mobilio, though a good choice in the MPV segment in India, has failed to generate big sales number. For a while now news has been doing rounds that the company may introduce a refreshed version of the Mobilio to reclaim its lost share in the Indian market.
As revealed by sources, it is believed that the company shall introduce a mildly refreshed variant in India sometime later this year. The new Mobilio shall be restricted to cosmetic upgrades and no major plans mechanical upgrades has been disclosed for now. It is believed that the Indonesian specs trim shall be introduced for the Indian market as well. However, it shall be introduced in the Indian market post the BR-V launch in the country. In terms of changes, the new model gets newly designed alloy wheel and chrome highlights on the front bumper.
The top-end Honda Mobilio RS variant shall be offered with all-Black theme, while the rest of the trim shall be offered in dual-tone shade. Moreover, the interiors in the new Mobilio shall carry the dashboard from the upcoming Honda BR-V. The touchscreen infotainment display gets more prominent positioning and acts as a display for rear-view camera. The air-con vents have been set high on the dashboard, while the instrument cluster features a new three-pod setup. As of now, the steering does not get any changes. The older knobs have been discarded and instead new sleeker buttons have been used.
