Honda is likely to increase the prices of all the cars in its range with effect from January. According to a report from Livemint, the company is working on the quantum of the hike and has attributed the proposed step to adverse exchange rates and inflation.
The Japanese automaker currently produces the Brio, Amaze, CR-V and the Accord premium sedan for the Indian markets. It recently unveiled the all new Honda City Diesel for India and it is expected to go on sale from January. It will be joined in 2014 by the all new Jazz and Vezel compact crossover.
Honda is expected to be joined by a host of manufacturers across various segments who will be increasing the prices of their vehicles in a bid to combat inflation and adverse exchange rates.
