Honda Jazz facelift to arrive in 2018

- It will be a mild facelift with changes to the fascia

- No mechanical changes

- Might get equipment upgrades

The new generation of the Honda Jazz was launched in India back in 2014 and judging by Honda history of updates, it looks like the Jazz is now due for one. Honda, on an average, updates its cars every three years with a generation-change on every alternate update.

So, with more than three years in the running for the Jazz, it is time for a mid-life update. In typical Honda fashion, the Jazz will get a little nose job, reformed bumpers and some added chrome. The front grille will resemble the newer Hondas and also might become a little larger. We hope to see LED DRLs on the Jazz, because, for a large section of the buyers, that is still a must have. 

On the inside, Honda might offer the new infotainment system that comes with the Honda City along with a few subtle changes inside the cabin. The magic-seats of the Jazz are quite unlikely to make a comeback. Under the hood, the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engines will continue to power the Honda Jazz. We will have to wait and watch if Honda offers the diesel-CVT combination with the Jazz now that it has made its debut with the all-new Honda Amaze.
