Amidst a spate of electric mobility development in the country, Japanese car manufacturer Honda was spied testing the electric version of the Jazz in India. The company is yet to reveal its electrification plans for India, but the charging port flap to the right of the vehicle confirms the presence of an electric motor under the hood. Although the technical details are not known yet, it is believed that the electric motor will have a driving range of 300kms.Ā Ā
Based on what can be seen, the rear section of the Jazz EV gets a pair of smaller wraparound units instead of the regular stacked LED tail lamps. Additionally, the design and the styling elements are identical to the Honda Fit EV. The vehicle gets sporty set of alloy wheels and a larger spoiler that extends onto the sides of the rear windshield.Ā Ā Ā
