Honda in Indonesia has just rolled out an updated CR-V and it now comes equipped with a ‘Fender’ premium audio system. Honda has not made any changes to the rest of the car, and the interiors and exteriors remain untouched.
Honda’s introduction of this high-end music system to the CR-V marks its endeavour to make this vehicle a more attractive buy as consumers in this segment are increasingly getting spoilt for choice.
So, now the Honda CR-V 2.4L Prestige will get an upmarket ‘Fender’ premium music system as a standard feature. It uses a six-channel amplifier with eight speakers; four tweeters are placed in front and the rear and four speakers are spread out in the same manner. While these tweeters produce more audio character as well as create the sensation of surround sound in the cabin, the amplifier serves to construct deeper bass.
"Fender has long been associated as a brand that is trusted by some of the best musicians the world has ever seen; thanks to the character of the audio reproduction. This is synchronous for music and audio lovers, and will give them a new experience to enjoy music, as well as strengthen the character of the Honda CR-V as a classy SUV, " said Jonfis Fandy, marketing and aftersales service director, Honda Indonesia.
Honda is positive that the updates to the CR-V will make it a more striking buy in the segment.
