Honda officially unveils the second generation Amaze in India at the ongoing 2018 Auto Expo event. Alongside, the company also showcased the fifth generation of the CR-V and the much awaited 10th generation Honda Civic. All three cars are due for launch in financial year 2018-19.
The new generation Honda Amaze is reportedly built on all new platform and is more aerodynamic than its predecessor. Moreover, the company boasts about offering an all new bold design, along with a sophisticated and spacious interior. The CR-V on the other hand has always been a strong product in the premium SUV segment and the new CR-V just promises to take things one step ahead. Interestingly, the new model will also be available with a diesel engine option for the very first time. In terms of features and design the SUV features LED headlights and taillights, LED DRLs and an aggressive front end. The new-generation generation Civic gets an athletic stance and advanced aerodynamic styling. As for the interior, the sedan gets high quality materials and a spacious cabin. The new Civic will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options at the time of launch.
Apart from three upcoming cars for India, the Japanese car manufacturer also showcased the Honda Sports EV concept, the Honda NeuV concept and the Clarity Fuel cell vehicle. The electric car technology will help the company achieve electrification goals by 2030.
