Japanese automaker Honda has just announced its sales numbers for April 2015. The brand registered monthly domestic sales of 12,636 units, as against 11,040 units sold during the same period last year. In addition to these numbers, Honda also exported a total of 853 cars during April 2015.
As expected, the star performer in April 2015 is the City that registered total sales of 8,203 units. The rest of the sales numbers were scaled by the Amaze (2,862), Brio (827 units), Mobilio (689 units) and the CR-V (55 units).
Honda India’s current bestsellers include the City and the Amaze, mainly thanks to the availability of the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The high anticipated third generation Jazz is also expected to feature the same engine when it arrives in the Indian market later this year.
