Honda India wholesales for November dropped marginally by 3.6 per cent. The company sold 14,712 units last month, compared to 15,263 units sold in the same month last year.
The company showed a massive 52 per cent growth last month with the onset of the festive season. But the drop in sales is perhaps because the dealers have taken a while to move the inventory in the second half of the month. The Mobilio has borne most of the brunt with dealerships ordering just 393 units of the MUV. Also, the newly launched Jazz sales are down to 3,367 units, which could be attributed to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno being launched with a very competitive price tag.
Overall, the Japanese manufacturer has shown a positive trend with a cumulative growth of 13 per cent from April to November selling 1,32,095 units, against the same period in 2014.
