- Offered at a concessional rate
- Honda City and Amaze are also available
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has announced that the Elevate will now be sold through the Canteen Stores Department (CSD). It will be offered at an exclusive price for the armed forces personnel, ex-servicemen, and their families.
The carmaker has not mentioned the exact pricing, but customers can get this information from their nearest CSD outlet. This special rate is in line with the commitment of the carmaker towards the members of the Indian Armed Forces. Till now, only the Amaze and the City were offered at CSD. Now, with the availability of the Elevate SUV, all cars from Honda’s portfolio will be sold through CSD outlets.
Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, HCIL, said, 'Extending Honda Elevate availability to our uniformed heroes is a privilege. This initiative reinforces our commitment to supporting those who serve our nation by offering them access to top-quality Honda products.'
Honda Elevate variant, engine, and gearbox specifications
Honda Elevate comes in seven petrol variant options. It is powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine that can be had with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT automatic. This five-seater SUV has a claimed mileage of 15.31-16.92kmpl, depending on various driving conditions. We tested the petrol manual and it delivered 11.36kmpl in the city and 18.5kmpl on the highway run.
We believe this SUV is well-suited to the needs of armed forces personnel and their families. Partnering with the CSD demonstrates the carmaker's commitment to fulfilling the expectations and addressing the growing needs of those who serve or have served towards protecting our nation.
